A very old design that features layered genuine hide skin. It has a broguing design on each layer with beadings to exaggerate some features of this sporran. The tassels are different from other sporrans and feature 5 hand pleated leather tassels with an antique pewter clasp decorated with Celtic knots.

The leather targe in the centre also adds to the sporrans historical and cultural significance. In the 16th century Scottish highlanders used the targe as a shield for defense, frequently adorned with intricate beaded designs.
